Buckton Vale Institute: Village institute built in 1897 by the Calico Printers Association. Facilities in the building include a bar area on the ground floor, including a stage and dance floor, Upstairs there was a library Kitchen/reading room and a function room.

The basement had a slipper bath for the workers of the mill.

The basement was later used as a Gym and a judo gym.

The institute is situated in the centre of the village at the junction of Buckton Vale Road, Carrbrook Road, Carr Rise and Long Row.

It is known to be the local community building, with it being at the heart of the village

We sell a range of draught beers, including Bitter, Dark mild, Guinness, IPA pale ale, Cider and lagers, including a premium Lager.

We have a large range of bottled drinks, including lagers, ciders, and ales and a range of non alcoholic drinks.

We sell wines in both large and small bottles, including Prosecco.

There is also a large range of soft drinks and mixers.

Tuesday only open when the ladies darts are playing at home - 8.00pm - 11.00pm
